Starlight & Flowers
Location: [ Zion National Park, Utah ]
Astrophotography is a humbling art, and as a novice, I’ve been trying to embrace all the challenges it brings. Like waiting for the moon to set because you didn't take that in to account, or grappling with the sheer speed of Earth’s rotation. But those challenges never overshadow the magic of the experience
This image of the Milky Way was taken around 1 a.m., just outside the eastern entrance of Zion National Park. Huddled down in a quiet, brushy field, surrounded by nothing but the stillness of the night. The sky, lit up with countless stars, was a reminder of how small we truly are in the vastness of the universe.
